Instagram Followers Tracker Pro processes Instagram relationship data locally to show follower and following analytics for your own signed-in account.

Data the extension handles

When you start a sync, the extension reads your account username and follower and following usernames from Instagram pages. It uses these lists to create relationship snapshots, detected changes, reports, and chart history. It also stores sync timestamps, stages, duration, counts, and the latest error when present.

The extension uses your existing Instagram browser session. It does not ask for or read your password, authentication cookies, or session tokens. It does not collect email addresses, payment information, or browsing history outside the Instagram pages needed for these features.

Storage and sharing

Analytics and sync diagnostics are stored in this Chrome profile using local extension storage. They are not sent to the developer or to an extension backend. The extension has no telemetry, advertising, remote logging, or cloud backup.

Instagram continues to handle the normal page requests made by your browser during sync. Those requests are governed by Instagram's policies.

Your controls and retention

Sync is manual. You can stop it and keep the last successful analytics. Data remains in local extension storage until you reset it, replace it by importing a backup, clear the Chrome profile's extension data, or uninstall the extension.

Report and backup downloads create CSV or JSON files on your device. Importing a backup requires confirmation before it replaces local analytics. Reset all data stops active sync and deletes the extension's local history, reports, and latest sync diagnostics. It does not delete files you previously downloaded.

Downloaded files may contain account and relationship usernames. Anyone you share these files or your Chrome profile with may be able to read them. The extension does not add password protection to exports or local storage.

Limited use

Data is used only for the relationship analytics and local data-management features you request. It is not sold, used for advertising, or transferred to the developer. This use of data adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
